海は広いな大きいな、眼下いちめんには蕎麦のウェーブが広がっている。

当店名物の特盛りシリーズ、これはさすがに多過ぎだろう、食べ切れる訳がない、と尻込みした。
でも喉越しの良い蕎麦はツルツルと胃に収まる。
1人で食べるには多い‥‥が割と食べれちゃうのだ。
天ぷら、タネは海老、茄子、南瓜、あとはごめん覚えて無い。
まず衣の蓄え方が大衆的と言うかモフモフで、それはある意味立ち食い蕎麦屋で頂くソレに近い、揚げ置きでは無いにしても質感的には庶民の為の天ぷら。
ただしタネの大きさはデカい、海老の大きさにはエビぞった。
鴨汁せいろはお店の看板メニュー。
実際、通りに面した大看板には「鴨汁せいろ・昭和39年創業！」と書かれているくらいの文字通り看板メニューだ。
基本は濃い口。
甘さと鴨肉の旨味を感じる、主張のしっかりとした美味いつけ汁。
具材はネギえのき鴨肉、シンプルだけどカエシの潔い味わいと相まり簡潔で明快な美味さが良いなと感じる、関東人限定の印象かも知れないけど。
付け合わせに頼んだジャガイモが何気にめちゃくちゃ美味い、メニューには北海道十勝産と書いてある、皮がモチっとした厚みと粘り、中身はホックホク、予想外だったけれどもこれが優勝金メダル。
蕎麦は店内仕込み、そう謳われている。
綺麗に揃った幅や断面からも、打つのは人かマシンか分からないけと、カットは機械だろう。
あまり香りはしない、表情を見ても上品なタイプ。
でも瑞々しく、喉越しと弾力のバランスは上々で美味しい蕎麦。
でなければ特盛りシリーズ、この量を一気に頂くのは無理だ。
コロナ禍の為か、お客さんの姿もまばらな状況。
普段ならもっと賑わっていて間違いない、少しエンタメ性があって味も確かなお蕎麦屋さん。
