「このパンケーキいいね」と君が言ったから、七月一日はサラダ記念日。
「パンケーキちゃうんかい」の声、聞こえる。
という訳で、パンケーキが食べたいという事で、
アリオ川口にあります、メレンゲ川口店に夫婦で来ました。
こちらのパンケーキはメレンゲをたくさん入れる事で、
ふわふわのパンケーキを提供してくれるお店なんですよ。
ああ、メレンゲって、元傭兵で軍事評論家の。
それ、テレンス・リー。
今回はお昼も兼ねて、ご飯も一緒に食べました。
まずはガーリックシュリンプ（980円）とコンビーフオムレツ（1,280円）
そして、新登場のフレンチポテト（450円）と食後にホイップバターパンケーキ（680円）です。
フレンチポテトはカリッと揚げたポテトの上にパルメザンチーズがかかっていて、
そのチーズの風味が鼻をくすぐり、とてもいい感じです。
そして、ガーリックシュリンプ、海老は殻付きですが、とても剥きやすく処理されており、
手で剥いたときに「わぁー、なんて親切ー」と思いました。
そしてこのココナッツ風味のソースが海老にもライスにも合い、本当に美味しい・・・。
美味い、美味いと食べすすめているうちに、ある事に気づきました。
「はっ！ここまで海老が剥きやすいなら、ナイフとフォークで剥けるのでは！」
案の定でした。なんなら隣の席のカップルはそうやって食べてました。
手を拭くためにはしたなく汚れたおしぼりがテーブルの上にのっていて、
デートだったら幻滅されるやつやな・・・と、二個食いは自分を恥じた（まんが道風に）
コンビーフオムレツは中にチェダーチーズとコンビーフがぎっしり。
ケチャップか、だし醤油をつけて食べるんですが、どちらもよく合います。
値段はなかなかしますが、おススメしたい一品です。
食べ終えた時に、絶妙のタイミングでパンケーキが出てきました。
パンケーキはふわふわで、生地だけでも美味しいですし、
この上にメープルシロップをたくさんかけて食べたらもう・・・。
上に乗っているクランチも噛みしめる楽しみを増幅させて、もう最the高です。
店内にはハワイアンが流れていて、ゆったりとした時間を過ごせます。
自分のご褒美の時間として、こちらのお店はいかがでしょうか？
