以前は、そば処中山道 西川口店 |
2021年8月のとある土曜日の11時過ぎに訪ねた。
西川口駅改札内にある「いろり庵きらく 西川口店」。
店外の食券機で「かき揚げ天玉そば」¥520を選択。
狭めの店内には先客3名ほど。
カウンター席に座って食券を提示。
2分ほど待って料理を受け取る。
玉ネギを中心に野菜で構成されたかき揚げと生玉子、刻みネギが入った天玉そば。
アッサリしたつゆと細めの麺がベースになっている。鰹節の旨味も感じられて上品な味。
唐辛子と胡麻をたっぷり振りかけて天玉そばを楽しむ。胡麻を振りかけられるというのがこの店の良いところ。風味が増して良い塩梅。
かき揚げをつゆに浸してバラしながら食べるとまた良い。途中で生玉子の黄身をかき揚げ天に絡めながら味わう。
天玉そばを存分に楽しみながら最後まで味わう。つゆが濃くないので、後味も良い感じ。
駅そばにしては520円という値段は若干高いかもしれないが、クオリティ高めの天玉そばなので値段には納得。
店舗としては若干窮屈な印象はあるが、味はいつもの「いろり庵きらく」の蕎麦であった。
