川口の用事帰りに車で周辺検索してこちらに立ち寄りました。駐車場がお店の少し先の交差点を左に入って50mほど行ったところにあります。
店内は券売機形式ですが、無駄な飾りはなく清掃も行き届いたオープンカウンターの和食料理店のようで高級感を感じさせます。
田舎つけうどん900円＋大盛り100円と舞茸と長ネギの天ぷら280円を注文。天ぷらは食券ではなく、カウンターで注文します。
うどんは武蔵野うどんというよりは、平打ち麺で見かけはひもかわに近い感じですが腰や弾力は武蔵野うどんです。うどんは食感だけでなく味や風味もよくそのままでも味わえます。つけ汁も豚肉ときのこがたくさん入っていて食感もよく満足感があります。
天ぷらは作りおきではなく、揚げたてなので、お塩で頂いてもサックとした食感を味わえます。長ネギの天ぷらが風味もよく美味しかったです。
個人的にはこれまで食べた武蔵野うどん店で1、2番の店でした。また近くに行くことがあれば少し足を伸ばしても立ち寄りたいお店です。
