西川口駅前。ラーメン屋。
深夜2時まで開いている。
いただいたのは、
「昆布水つけ麺」(900円）
麺は、多加水のガッシリ食感、平打ち。
このタイプの麺はもともと味わいがそれほどないが、
更に、茹で時間短め、温度低めなので、追い討ち。
それを底上げするのが昆布水なんだろうけれど、
昆布の味は弱いし、サラサラなので麺に絡まない。
これ、昆布水のつけ麺、と言われなければ誰も分からない。
つけダレとの相性もそんな相性が良いわけではなく、
つけダレの油のテカテカばかりが気になった。
西川口で同じ昆布水つけ麺なら、別の有名店の方が段違いに美味しい。
