山形から東京に帰る途中、大宮から南越谷経由で行きました。谷塚で下り歩いて5分くらい、火曜の19時過ぎに着きました。先客はなく、後客が1名、デリバリーが1件でした。
お店はインドカレー店ですが夜の居酒屋的利用も狙ったようなメニュー構成。しかし今はアルコールの提供はありませんので普通にカレーを頂きます。
カレーはチキン、マトン、シーフード、ベジタブルに分かれますが、目についたのはセットメニュー。カレーが2種類選べるタンドリーセット(1,300円)にしました。カレーはマトンカレーとサグマッシュルームにしました。辛さは5段階の4番目、辛口。飲み物はラッシーです。これにサラダが付きます。
直ぐにサラダとラッシーが来ました。
サラダは普通のグリーンサラダでドレッシングも普通のゴマだれ。いつものオレンジ色ではありません。味は全く普通のサラダ。
注文から10分くらいでカレー2種、ナン、タンドリーチキンが来ました。ナンが巨大です。
先ずはマトン。上に生姜が乗ってますね。食べてみるとじわっとした辛さがあります。マトンがゴロゴロ入っていてうまい＼(^o^)／甘さはなく塩がキチッと効いてます。この前食べた名古屋のインドカレーは甘さがありましたがお土地柄ですかね、やはり関東のインドカレーに甘さは無かったです。
サグマッシュルームは油が浮いてます。と言ってしつこくは無いです。こちらにも生姜が乗りアクセントですね。こちらも塩がキチッとしてうまい＼(^-^)／サグとマッシュルームが合いますね〜
ナンも甘さは無いです。こっちが好みですね。塗ってある油もあっさりしていてうまいです＼(^ω^)／
チキンは手羽中。こちらは特にスパイシーでも無く普通かな。
食べ進むとナンが腹に溜まってきますね。インドカレー店て、ナンが当たり前のように出てきますが自分はバスマティライスと合わせる方が好みですね。改めて認識しました。
コスパが非常に高くてうまいカレーでした。お酒と一緒に頂きたいものです。
