ずっと前からここにあるのは知ってたけど、入ろうと思ったことはなかった。
この日は隣町の松伏でビリヤニを食べた後、越谷へ移動。
2軒目の蕎麦屋は駐車場が満車の為、断念。
ショッピングモールの駐車場に車を停め、駅周辺を散策。
昔と比べると飲食店が減ってしまった印象の越谷駅周辺。
外観からはまったく美味しそうに見えないお店だけど、
ずっと続いているのだから、何かわけがあるに違いない。
他に食べたいお店も見つからないし、入ってみよう。
店内はなんと喫煙OK。常連客がビールを飲みながら喫煙中。
今時珍しいな。まあ、喫煙者にとっては貴重なお店と言えるだろう。
メニューを見ると、らーめんが500円、セットでも650円～と安い。
2軒目なのでらーめんにしようかとも思ったが、なんとなく担々麺気分。
●担々麺800円
5分も待たずに担々麺の出来上がり。
透明感のある細麺はもっちりタイプ。
胡麻のコクはあまりなく、しょっぱめスープ。
具は挽肉とチンゲン菜のみ。らーめんの500円と比べるとコスパはイマイチ。
先客、後客ともに年配者ばかり。年配者に人気なのかな。
