It's been a while since I've posted. Today, my wife and I visited [b:Teppanya: Enishi] located at Wako City Station. This time, I chose this place because it was a place where I could have a light drink and eat vegetables. It is on the 2nd floor of a building about 3 minutes walk from Wako City Station. There is [a:11002829, Bar Enishi] on the same floor, and [a:11019526, Meiseikan] on the 3rd floor. The store is dimly lit with precious wood. There is an L-shaped counter at the entrance, and table seats at the back. I visited after 8pm on a public holiday, and it was about 60% full. I think most of the customers were in their 30s and 40s. BGM is nostalgic! Chisato Moritaka and others were playing. . . This time I ordered: ・Vegetable bamboo steamer (800 yen) ・Duck salad (650 yen) ・Stir-fried Oyster in butter (680 yen) ・Tonpeiyaki (600 yen) ・Apple pie (480 yen) And 2 cups of raw meat and soft serve It was one drink. Anyway, CP is good! All of them are quite voluminous. The seasoning overall gives a strong impression, but none of them are off-putting. Tonpeiyaki is a fluffy egg batter filled with plenty of cabbage, tenkasu, and red ginger, and is very filling. It even seemed like a little too much for two people. That's 600 yen! I forgot to take a photo, so I borrowed it from Gurunavi. . . sorry. . . You can eat plenty of more than 10 types of vegetables in the vegetable steamer. For 800 yen, it felt like a great deal. I used a coupon for one drink service, and the total was in the low 4,000 yen range! My wife, who doesn't like smoking, said the air was bad. The staff are also nice, and the service is frank and polite. If you want to eat hearty Teppan-yaki, this restaurant is recommended.
