朝霞で食べる九州ランカカレー
あさかのビストロBocOさん。
この日はWBC決勝と検査日がバッティング。
初めはTV観戦を諦め検査終えたらお気に入りの店でランチと目論んでいたが、早めに検査を終えれば終盤家で見れるのでは？と判断し家を出る。
だが時間を早めたせいでかえって混雑、無事検査終えると今度は会計から呼び出しを食らい最早観戦は諦めムード…おまけにお気に入りの店の開店時間まで30分以上早すぎると言うオチ付き。
とりあえず電車に乗りホームタウンへ向かう。
途中スマホでアホほど速報を更新し日本の勝ちを確認、安堵したと同時に昼どうするかね？と我に返り、BMしていたこの店へ入店。
ドアを開けると出迎えたのは大きめのBGMと店員さんの笑い声、客席より一段高い厨房は壁で覆われた作りのせいもあって入店に気付かれず「すみませ～ん」と声を掛けるも音に遮られ全く届かず…
ようやく存在に気付いてもらえ１人と言うと、今日は予約が入っているとの事で入口すぐのボックス席に通された。
注文は12種のスパイスのスリランカカレー(サラダ・スープ・ドリンク付き)￥1738(税込)、選べるドリンクはアイスコーヒーにした。
本家は食べた事ないが、九州ランカと呼ばれるあのカレーがまさか朝霞にあったなんて…

先に出されたプレートにはにんじんドレッシングが掛かったサラダ、バゲットのクルトンが入ったコンソメスープ、そしてアイスコーヒー。
朝霞と言えばにんじん畑、手作りのドレッシングが美味しい。
ココナッツミルクを使ったシャバシャバカレーはチリの辛さでそこそこ、辛さを選ぶ事が出来るならもう気持ち辛くても良いかな。
ターメリックライスの上にはもちろんカラムーチョ、ライスはぱっと見少なく感じたが食べ進めると中々の量。
シャバシャバグレービーには柔らかくて美味しい大振りなチキンが２つ。
表面を揚げたじゃがいもは1/2個サイズで丁度良く、スプーンで割って食べるとその揚げた一手間がグレービーを絡みやすくさせていてなるほどなと思った。
じゃがいもに添えられたパリップもざっと見る限り３種類の豆を使っていてたっぷり。
硬めに炊かれたターメリックライスとシャバシャバグレービーとの相性も良く、美味しかった。
本家より、なかなか強気の価格設定だが九州行かずに食べれたと思えば安いでしょう(^^;
途中、予約席に5～6人の団体さんが来店、テーブル席の方も後から予約席になっていたから大勢の場合は予約した方が良さそう。

Last time I visited, I couldn't get in because I was a reserved customer, so this time I decided on a second choice in advance in case I was turned away, and I was very careful to call to confirm. Because I want to empathize with its deliciousness.・12 kinds of spice Sri Lankan curry (single item) ¥1,529 (tax included) x 2 Needless to say, I ordered Sri Lankan curry as a single item. It doesn't come with a drink, but comes with soup and salad, so it's the same as the set, but the price has increased by 100 yen from last time, so it might be more expensive for lunch compared to the surrounding areas and the main restaurant. Let's have it♪ First we have the salad and soup, then the consommé soup with croutons that brings out the sweetness of the onions, and the salad with a slightly sour carrot dressing. The plate came after I finished eating them. Take a bite of the spicy gravy that smells like spices... Wow! So delicious!! It's even sharper than last time!! The turmeric rice is topped with the obligatory columnocho, and the junkiness is also fun. A bean curry that goes perfectly with the 1/2-sized steamy potatoes that are fried, and a generous amount of gravy that is easy to carry in your mouth.So that you can enjoy them for as long as possible, you can eat the chicken in small pieces with a spoon♪ Finally, this is the joy of eating.
