東武東上線の上福岡駅東口のほど近くにある饂飩屋さん。店内に入ると右手厨房前のカウンターには、天ぷらがずらりと並び、小皿にお気に入りをとりつつ、途中でうどんの種類を告げ、最後に会計。
カウンター端にある薬味と天かすを好みで乗せたら、席は自由。
かけうどん¥430(2玉は¥530)にして、天ぷらは、烏賊、かしわ、卵を。
どんぶりにはられた出汁はほのかに色づいているものの透明度が高い。出汁はふわっといりこの香りがして塩分や醤油はまろやかで出汁の香りと旨みを邪魔しない味付けで、カラダに沁み渡ります、好みです、完飲しました。
麺は丸みを帯び、もっちりとした断面ながら、しっかりとコシがあるので、咀嚼するのが楽しい。
毎日いただきたいです。
かしわは適度に脂がのり、むっちり。揚げ具合もカラッとして衣がいい。
烏賊は身が厚くて食べ応えがあるけれど、揚げ具合が弱かったな、残念。
卵は、黄身が半熟でとろっとして、カラッと揚がった衣と適度な弾力の白身との対比がいい。うどんよりはご飯に合わせたい。
客席はテーブルがいくつかあり、透明アクリル板で仕切られています。
平日、遅めのランチどきはほぼ満席ですが、サクッと食べて退店する方が多いので、回転は早いと思います。
