埼玉県川越市のぽか羅さんへ13:00頃初訪問。西武本川越駅から徒歩5分程。ノスタルジックな外観がカレーのうまさを期待させます。フォロワーさんのレビューを読んで野菜カレー、チキン野菜カレーが美味しいと予習していたのでいいとこ取りのチキン野菜カレーを注文。
カレールー
シャバシャバ系。一口目は物足りないぐらい薄味ですが食べ進めるとうまさが広がりコクも感じる不思議な後からくるタイプ。辛味も同様に全然辛くないが食べ進めるとだんだん辛くなり最後は水ガブ飲み。これも後からくるタイプ。
ターメリックライス
硬めに炊き上げシャバシャバ系ルーによく合う。
具材
野菜各種を揚げたり、茹でたり、いいとこ取り混合タイプ。具沢山で丁寧に下茹でされてうまい。特にレンコンが甘みも有りうまい！チキンも小さいが柔らかく味が染みてうまい。
付け合わせ
大根の香辛料の酢漬け(辛く無い)
青カッパミジンの漬物
野菜が具沢山でおいしいシャバシャバ系のカレー。
野菜も注文入ってから素揚げをしたり、角を丁寧に取ってあったり丁寧に作られている。辛口も辛味は強く後からきます。個人的には辛口でも旨味を感じるギリギリかなと感じる。駐車場は無く近隣の有料駐車場を利用。
