東武東上線・川越市駅の改札を出て、右に折り返すように進んでしばらくして角を曲がったすぐ右側にあるカレーのお店です。駅から徒歩3分程度です。
以前、待ち合わせ時間の調整のため散策していた際に通りがかり気になったお店で、食べログで検索してみたら評判も良さそうだったので、保存してあったのでした。
金曜の夕食として2名で訪問。テーブル席は5人用が1卓、あとはカウンター7席という、こじんまりとしたお店です。荷物はカウンター下か入口近くの棚に置く仕組みで、隣の椅子とかには置かないでねとのことです。音楽はジャズが流れていました。
「エビス中瓶」（580円）で乾杯。後に私はグラスの赤ワインと同行者がモスコミュールを追加。
「カツオのタタキサラダ」と「ぽかサラダ」と「チキンパコーラ」を前菜に。カレーライスは「チキン野菜カレー」（1,080円）×2人前を注文しました。
サラダは野菜の味がいいと感じました。具材も薬味も工夫があり、丁寧に作られているのを感じました。「チキンパコーラ」は大きくて個性的な衣の鶏唐揚げとサツマイモ揚げが添えられているのも川越らしくて感激でした。
「チキン野菜カレー」も色々な野菜が入っていて、辛さは丁度いい感じなのに、汗が出るのがスパイスの効果を実感。
プロの職人さんによる素晴らしいお料理を頂けて感激しました。一人でも入りやすいので、ちょっと時間ができた折に一人でも寄せていただきたいと思いました。ご馳走様でした！
