お店は新しいが、簡素な作り
うどんは茹でたてを出してくれるので、少し待たなくてはいけないが美味しい
麺は太くて硬い

というわけで、本川越駅歩いてすぐの
「手打ちうどん 長谷沼」さんへ

仕事の途中で川越で昼食をとることに。
鰻でも食べようかと思っていたが、昼時とあって人気店は行列だ。
うどんでもささっと食べていくことにするか。
しかしこちらも人気店なのか、店内はほぼ満席。

今は無き才谷屋の居ぬき営業されてるうどん屋さんで評価が高いので訪問してみました。
サイトも綺麗につくられており、期待できそう。
店に入ろうとしたら丁度先客が数組いたけど...
以前の「才谷屋さん」だった時の居抜きらしいので本場の讃岐うどんが食べられる！と期待しましたが、違いました。
川越のメイン通りから少し外れているとは言え、才谷屋さんの時にはかなり混雑していましたが...
日曜日の休みに割と早くから飲んだ日の締めは長谷沼さんです。
美味しい天ぷらも一個から揚げたてを注文できるし、特に舞茸天とかしわ天がお勧めです。

11時過ぎにお店に着いたけれど10人位の行例。
待ってる間に丁度お腹が空きそう
