Since I had to change trains at Ageo Station, I decided to have lunch around here. I was in the mood for a local Chinese restaurant, but I couldn't find it Tabelog, so I ended up going here, which is a normal continental Chinese restaurant. If you look at the menu, it looks like a local Chinese restaurant. The lunch menu is cheap, starting at 500 yen. Among them, I ordered stir-fried pork and various vegetables for 600 yen. The fried pork that came out looked like Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) with sauce! Almost entirely dark brown, it has won the hearts of Team Brown. Ingredients are pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, chives, bamboo shoots, and onions. What looked like noodles were bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and onions, all cut into thin strips. The cabbage has an eco-friendly design that uses plenty of the hard outer part. If you remove the cabbage and chives, it looks like green pepper meat. Contrary to its appearance, it tastes like a modified version of oyster sauce, so it's not bad. The rice was dry on the outside and sticky on the inside. It might be different if it's a high-end restaurant, but it's pretty rare to find delicious white rice at continental Chinese restaurants. I guess we all have different ways of thinking about food. The soup is the usual lightly beaten egg, with some flavor and the body of the soup. The pickled vegetables are red Chinese cabbage, and I don't want to call it kimchi. Was it a mistake to choose a strange menu? It's cheap so I don't really have any complaints.
