On Saturday night, I went to a Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Kuki with my wife and a pervert. We had mountain yam wasabi, a large serving of green onions, chicken thighs, fried burdock, monkfish liver with ponzu sauce, quail skewers, fried octopus, Atka mackerel, and thick-sliced bacon. There were many dishes that you won't find at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) chains, but they were quite tasty, so I was very satisfied. The fried burdock looked like quince candy, which was funny. We had a really fun time.
