Weekday surprise!
October 12, 2020 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eating out has drastically decreased, both day and night. I only occasionally "drop in" at the restaurants I frequent. (I haven't uploaded this because I don't have any material...) Then, my wife, who has a day off the next day, said, "I want to go somewhere light!" Really light! I thought, "It's Monday, so it might be empty," but the previous customers were a group and it seemed busy. I heard later that the husband was also "No way!" and the part-timer's adjustment backfired... The "Monkfish liver ponzu sauce, ¥550" that I thought would be served immediately took a while. The "Grilled salted saury, ¥750?" that I ordered at the same time was small, but that was expected. Just as I was saying to my wife, "You're really busy. There's no appetizer!", an incredible dish appeared. One portion is half a body, but it's "Boiled sea bream with headbutt". I've been to many restaurants, but I think this is the first time I've ever had this. But. Unfortunately, it seemed like they were even busier than usual, so I told them to see me next time and paid the bill.
I guess I can't go beyond my personal "classics."
December 25, 2019 This is probably the last time of the year. I like this "Jellyfish Ponzu, 580 yen". I heard that "There is only one restaurant in the market that sells it." It seems that there are many fans other than me. I also ordered "Monkfish liver ponzu, 600 yen", but it was at the level of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). The "lightly pickled celery" as a palate cleanser had no particular stringiness and was delicious! . For skewers, I ordered meatballs and skirt steak. Then, "Please eat the precious meat inside the white liver!"... Thank you for the meal. I'm a tough guy, but everyone likes me.
次回は「キープ」をお願いします。

翌日はワイフが振休なので、軽く外呑みです。
月曜日のせいか?18時過ぎに訪問しても1番乗り~。
駅前でスタッフがリーフレットを配っていましたが効果は薄いみたいですね。
(「これから店へ行くよ!」と声掛けしたら嬉しそーでした)
入店して御主人からの第一声は、前回の「事件」へのお詫び。
「気にしてナイし、覚えていたの?」と答えれば「もう、来て頂けないと思っていたので嬉しいです!」とのこと。
自分。Hawaiiの老舗中華屋で店長?と言い合いになっても通い続け、
元通り仲良しなる位のヤツですから心配無用ですよ。
ファーストドリンクは2人共に「メガハイボール」にしますか。
昔懐かしい「黒髭ゲーム」で当たれば「無料」ですが、
世の中甘くはありませんね。
同時にオーダーした「ポテサラ」&「くらげポン酢・¥580」はお気に入りですので、美味しーです。
ちなみに本日のお通しは「タマゴ焼きの岩海苔餡掛け」。
岩海苔がい~感じです。
ドリンクを「黒霧島ボトル」にして、追加のツマミは「本ししゃも・¥680」と「とろたく・¥600」かな。
すると御主人が「ししゃもは小さいのですが宜しいですか?」と聞きます。
気を使い過ぎですよ。そんな事言わなくも大丈夫!
その「ししゃも」は確かに小さいですが「旨い」と言われている「雄」。
旨味を感じました。
提供までの間にスタッフが「これ、サービスです」と1皿カウンターに置きます。
「前回ご迷惑を掛けたので・・・」
有難く頂きましたが、こちらが恐縮してしまいます。
お湯割りなら1人でも1本呑んでしまう時もありますが、
水割りは意外に酔います。
ボトル半分残してフィニッシュ!
勝手に「ボトル置き場ばナイ」と思い込み(うぃーだから)、
またしても持ち帰ってしまいました。
御主人、安心してね!また、お邪魔します。
思わずボトルを抱えてしまったのは慣れてないから~!(通常は呑み切り)

2回目の利用です。
初訪は昨年11月で好印象でした。
そのレビューをアップしたのですが、「食べログ」の新機能「保存」が登場し色々試している内に消えちゃいました。
18時頃予約なしで訪問すれば奥の座敷では「新年会」かな?盛り上がっています。
ワイフと2人なので、手前のカウンターに案内されました。
この日は関東でも雪が降る寒い日(埼玉では降りませんでした)なので、焼酎お湯割りからスタートですね。
呑み慣れた「黒霧島ボトル・¥2,800」をお願いします。
本日のお通しは「ロールキャベツ」。
デミソースで良~く煮込まれていてトロトロ&熱々です。
一緒に煮込まれていた「ポークビッツ?」と思って食べた品は人参!
おっと、これはワイフへプレゼントですね。
おすすめメニューから「とろたく(韓国海苔で)・¥600」と「いわし塩焼・¥380」をファーストオーダー。
「とろたく」は想像よりボリューミーですし美味しー!
カットした沢庵の形状も影響されている感じかな。
「380円は小さいヤツが数匹?大きいヤツ1つ?」
と思っていた「いわし」は後者でしたよ。
ゆっくり時間を掛けて「脂」が落されて好みです。
レギュラーメニューの「白レバー」をワイフが希望するので、
自分は串物から「鰻」。
勝手に「肝」と思いながら注文すれば「身」だそーです。
既に うぃー ですので気転が効かず、そのままお願い。
さほど白くないレバーの後に提供された鰻は・・・、「冷たい」です。
ワイフは「焼き直しをお願いしよー!」と言いますが、
自分のテンションは「冷たい」ままなのでフィニッシュ!
会計後にその事を伝えましたが、これは「事故」なので気にしませんよ。
「満席御礼」で入店出来ない後客が多い程の人気店ですからね。

May 30, 2022 Let's use the remaining 5,000 yen of the "Go To Eat Campaign Saitama Prefecture Premium Meal Voucher" here for the first time in a while! The first drink is draft beer, and the rest is a bottle of JINRO... It seems that the price has gone up a little, but I don't mind. The appetizer is a boiled Simmered dish, but the seasoning is unusual and I don't think it suits me. Sorry. I left it. From the quick menu, I ordered "Lightly Pickled Celery 400 yen" and two skewers of "Grilled White Liver 220 yen", which my wife likes. It seems that they only have these skewers. What a shame... It's the first time I've seen the wait staff, but they're nice. I also ordered "Herring with Roe 720 yen", which I think will take a while, and it was delicious! Of course the meat was good, but the grilled egg was delicious. I have to order my favorite "Jellyfish Ponzu 600 yen". The "Fried Eggplant" was also good. I talked to the manager at the time of payment, and he said that they had moved and were now closer to my house. "I see them sometimes." I wish he'd said something to me. I was able to use all my tickets without any problems. Thank you.
