飯能駅からややあるいたところの商店街、飯能銀座にあるパン屋さん。並びにある伊勢屋、長寿庵などと並んで飯能銀座の老舗なのかな。素朴で美味しいパン、お勧め。
この日は一人で飯能散歩。良い天気の中歩いていろいろ買って帰ろうか、となりここ英国屋にも。英国屋、何回か利用したことあるのにレビューは初めてみたい。
購入したのは

コーンマヨ
クリームパン
正確な価格を忘れてしまったが町のパン屋さんらしく求めやすい値段だった。
翌日朝食で奥さんと頂く。
コーンマヨ、裏切らない美味しさ。クリームパン、素朴な甘さ。ホットドッグ、たっぷりなボリューム、カレーパンほのかなスパイシー。美味しい朝食であった。
飯能銀座、一見寂しそうな商店街に見える。だけどもここには絶品お刺身鮮魚店、美味しいオムライスのそば店、たくさんの種類の和菓子とおにぎりのお店、有名なケーキ店も。そして登山アニメ、ヤマノススメの聖地でもある。
魅力たくさん飯能。マイクロツーリズムに是非どうぞ。
