食べログで見付けて面白そうな秩父の郷土料理居酒屋さん。店名の通り西武秩父駅の駅前２階にあります。２年連続で訪れた秩父夜祭で駅隣の温泉施設に入る前に寄りました。午後１５時頃訪れましたが地元客らしきグループが３組飲んでいました。キリンビール一番搾りを注文。お通しが５品でますと言われたので言われた通りにしました。お通し代は¥500付いていました。注文したのはきのこ汁、鮎の塩焼き、地鶏のたたき、鬼胡桃そば。鮎と地鶏のたたきは冷凍庫から出したもので調理していました。残念。地鶏のたたきはまだ凍っていて最初ルイベなのかなと思ってしまいました。馬刺しも注文しようとしましたが冷凍庫からお肉を出されたので止めました。美味しかったのはきのこ汁と鬼胡桃そば。素朴なお味が良かったです。
あとはお通しも含め家庭の料理レベルでした。
吉田類さんも来店されたのですね。色紙が貼られていました。個性的な、クセ強目の店主さんと多数の方がコメントされてましたがそんな変わった方でもなく普通にやや職人気質な印象を受けました。その点は全く問題なし。でもでも領収書を頂いた際に明細を拝見したらパッと計算しても明らかにおかしな計算だったので指摘したら消費税と地方税を頂いていますとの事。飲食代に地方税って別に取りましたっけ？？それを入れたとしても変な計算。まぁ大雑把なお店なのでしょう。しかも宛名の所に金額書いてるし(笑)あと今はメニューに税金を明示した金額を表示しないとダメなんですよって教えてあげそうになりました。きのこ汁や煮物等、秩父の郷土料理が得意なようです。イチローズモルトが多数在庫していたのは流石です。
地元の御常連のお客さんで成り立っている居酒屋さんのようです。不思議なお店でした。
