Looking for Omi beef Sukiyaki on a Tabelog and chose Kadoman, and when I called from Otsu Station, I was able to make a reservation as long as I arrived by 2:00 p.m. It was about a 10 minute walk, so I headed there quickly. Once you pass through the elegant noren curtain, you will find a shop on the first floor and take the elevator at the back to the second floor. When I told them my reservation name, I was guided to a semi-private room that could accommodate 4 people. The interior is calm and the delicious smell of Omi beef tickles your nose, increasing your anticipation. This time I decided on Sukiyaki, so I ordered Omi beef Sukiyaki course loin 210g 13,000 yen (tax included) and draft beer. Soon, an IH heater and Sukiyaki pot were delivered, followed by draft beer, beef shigureni, and eggs. While I was having a bowl of shigureni, an assortment of meat and vegetables was brought to me. When I asked them how to grill the meat, they grilled it by themselves instead of having it cooked by the restaurant staff, and when I asked them how to grill it, they lined it up with warishita, sugar, and hot water. After the pot was hot, they turned the beef tallow and seared the meat. It seems to adjust the taste. A large piece of meat with beautiful color and marbling is grilled right away, seasoned with warishita, mixed with a dark egg yolk, and when you bite into it, your mouth goes slack. As soon as you put it in your mouth, you will be impressed by the texture and smooth texture that melts in your mouth. I forgot to drink beer and put the second one in the pot. I also received some vegetables and added a third grilled egg. After eating 210g of meat, I was so full that I could barely eat half of the rice and couldn't even touch Ice cream for dessert. I was imagining a woman wearing a Japanese kimono cooking the food, but I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to enjoy it at your own pace in a semi-private room where you can't see the seats next to you. I ordered two bowls of hot sake, which cost about 15,000 yen per person, and I left the restaurant thinking about getting Steak next time. *The food pictured is for 2 people.
