(It's been about half a year since I went there... sorry) Eating in Shiga! Well, I have two choices: here or eel shabu shabu shabu. I read that Jidori-ya Onza has a very hard time getting a reservation, but I called anyway, and they said they were making reservations on a day when they couldn't, but they just decided to open the restaurant, so you can make a reservation. Wow, I'm in luck!!! So I booked the counter special course. I walked from the station, but it took about 25 minutes (lol). It's in a place that makes you wonder if the restaurant is really there? Most people take a taxi (lol). Also, 80% of the customers are regulars (lol). Everyone starts at the same time, and the food is so huge that it moves at a great pace. In a sense, everyone starts eating and then finishes eating, so it's the next dish, so you have to eat at the same pace!! It might be difficult if you go at a slow pace. And the portions are quite large!! Tokasa appeared, male and female appeared and you could compare them, and each dish was carefully explained, which was really impressive. There was a lot of Japanese sake and the person next to me had come all the way from Kobe with his own tokkuri! And I was surprised at the price!!! Wow, is it okay to have it that cheap?? I was really lucky to be able to make a reservation!! I was more full than ever (lol) I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try chicken. Thank you for the meal!
