ランチにうかがいました。旧公民館の建物の中に何軒かのレストランが入っているようです。レトロで雰囲気のいい外観と内観です。
近江牛のコース（4950円）を予約しておきました。パスタについては2種類から選べます。今回はトマトソースとオクラのパスタ、万願寺とうがらしとブラックオリーブのオイルパスタです。オイルパスタをお願いしました。
前菜はニンジンのエスプーマとコンソメのジュレにいたや貝が乗っていました。混ぜながらいただきます。少し濃い目の味付けですが、なめらかでこくがあり美味しかったです。
続いて近江野菜のサラダ仕立てです。新鮮な地元の野菜の中に生ハムとモッツァレラチーズが見え隠れしています。あっさりとしたドレッシングでいただきます。
パスタの万願寺とうがらしはピリッと辛くブラックオリーブとトッピングのしらすとも大変よく合っていました。絶妙の塩加減です。
近江牛はＡ５ランクのサーロインです。ソースはかかっていましたが、岩塩と粒マスタードが添えられています。さすがにＡ５ランクです、もう少し食べたいなと思ってしまいました。岩塩がサーロインの甘みを引き出します。
デザートはブラッドオレンジとアメリカンチェリーのグラニテ。マンゴーのジェラートが乗ったドルチェ。どちらも果物の味がしっかりわかり甘すぎずさっぱりといただけます。
飲み物はホットコーヒーをお願いしました。
全体的に素材のよさが生かされていて、どれもおいしくいただきました。ランチとしてのコスパを重視される場合はＡかＢのコースにするといいと思います。 ごちそうさまです。
