It is located in the former Otsu Public Hall building at Italian Cuisine. This ristorante is well suited for special occasions. We ordered the B plan of the lunch course (this is the only plan currently available) and had a Franciacorta spumante as an aperitif ♪ They say it goes well with their specialty spumas. We had a 3-glass wine pairing course, so we had 3 glasses of wine including the Spumante. The red was Pinot from South Africa ・White was Verdicchio from Italy ◆Stuzzicchino Carrot spuma, consommé jus, Itaya shellfish The espuma was less carrot and more buttery. ◆Antipasto Omi vegetable salad with French Prosciutto on top. The salad has a light flavor. The pasta was a bit more of a "cappellini" with figs and eggplant than I had expected. The pasta was delicious. I had the hot pasta with kama-age shirasu and oil, and my wife had the aged meat ragout. (The menu card is probably a typo, I think it wants to say caldo=warm.) (The card on the menu misstated the word caldo=warm.) ◆Secondo Piatto I had chicken with porcini mushrooms and sherry vinegar sauce, and my wife had fresh fish sartare with Omi vegetable aqua pazza style ◆Granite Lemon jelly, grapefruit and pepper. ◆Dolce Chocolate mousse with chestnuts and figs Chili and vanilla Gelato Are oriental-style desserts with spices in the vein of the granité in vogue among chefs? Nice atmosphere and pleasant late afternoon. It was a quality time.
