１泊目の延暦寺会館とは全く違う、大きなホテル。
TV等で見た事がありました。
観光と和菓子屋巡りを終え、夕方チェックインしましたが、
G.Wでロビーは大混雑です。
部屋からの眺めは、琵琶湖を一望する素晴らしいものでした。
夕食は、お楽しみのしのはらなので、休憩後出発。
素晴らしい夕食を終え満腹で、ホテルに戻りました。
３日目は晴天です。
朝食付のプランで、朝食は和食か和洋バイキングから選べます。
景色が良さそうなので３７階のバイキング会場に行くと、行列です。
待ち時間４０分以上・・・第２会場がありますと案内していました。
良い景色の中で食べる朝食が出来ず残念でしたが、第２会場へ。
今までもＧ．Ｗ等の混雑時に、ホテルに宿泊していますが、
朝食の第２会場は初めてです。（これだけ大きなホテルですから）
ごく普通の宴会場の長いテーブルに料理が並んでいます。
ひと昔前の田舎のホテル風で殺風景。
料理も第１会場？（ニューヨーク）とは違うのか？同じなのかわかりませんが、
写真の様にごく普通。
大きなホテルに泊まったのは久し振りで、この様な事態は予想せず、
しかも普段なら結構早めに朝食会場へ向かうのですが、
昨夜のご馳走で満足し、少し出遅れた感じ。
和食に変更した方が良かったかも・・・がっかりの朝食でした。
その後ホテルの近所を散歩。
旅行中初めての晴天、青い空と琵琶湖の景色に
朝食のがっかり感も薄れ、すっかりご機嫌でホテルに戻りました。
天気が悪ければ、真っすぐ徳島へ帰る予定でしたが、
晴天だったので、少し足を延ばして近江八幡に行く事にしました。
