PR for restaurants |
This is a bar in front of Hamaotsu Station where you can casually drop in for a drink. On the second floor, you can enjoy a leisurely meal at the tables.
In front of Biwako Hama Otsu Station! Look for the big sign. We have fresh seafood such as sashimi, a wide variety of dishes that go well with alcohol, and about 50 types of local sake from within and |
I went to Otsu on a business trip, and it was very cold and windy that day, so I was unsure where to eat, but I decided to go because it was close to the hotel. It was cold, so I wanted something warm, so I selected the oden set from the menu tablet, and ordered a sweet potato shochu with hot water as a drink. The oden was flavorful, and the daikon radish was large and filling. I also ordered fried mexicali, which was on the recommended menu, and Sushi, which is a specialty of Shiga Prefecture. These two dishes go well with alcohol. The Sushi in particular was easier to eat than Sushi I've had before, and it was like cheese, so I thought it would go well with wine. I wasn't able to try all the sweet potato shochu on the menu, but I got drunk just right. I'd like to visit again.
