大津駅から徒歩10～15分ほどの場所。
なんと”本要寺”というお寺の敷地内にお店があります！
お寺の入り口は北側の商店街側にあるのですが
南側の細い道からもお店に行くことが出来ます。
（細くてちょっと暗いですが…）
こちらは、滋賀県では珍しい「薪焼き」イタリアン。
ご主人は、京都のイタリアンで研鑽を積まれたようです。
関東のご出身のようですが、滋賀県の素材に魅了され滋賀愛溢れる方です♪
お料理
基本的にはアラカルトが中心のようですが、コース料理もあります。
コース料理は6品（税込5500円）と良心的。
初めてでしたので、コース料理にしてみました。
コース料理の内容
①前菜盛り合わせ3品
（ウイキョウ入りサラミ、鰆薪焼き・クスクス、バターナッツ南京のブルスケッタ）
②天然琵琶鱒ともち麦のタルタル
③生ハム、リコッタサラータ
④永源寺舞茸のクリームパスタ（キッタラ）
⑤ヒウチ牛の薪焼き
⑥なしのタルト、ジェラート
じっくりと薪を使ったお料理が楽しめました。
薪の種類も色々、この日はクヌギでした。
素材・料理に合わせて程よい薫りが付加されています。
備長炭とは一味違った奥行を感じます。
ワイン
カウンターの後ろにセラーが用意されています。
セラーに入って自分で選ぶことも可能です♪
是非ワインがお好きな方と訪問してみたいですね。
1人でもお伺いできる雰囲気ですし、アラカルトも対応。
駅からは少し離れていますが、隠れ家的な雰囲気で内観も素敵。
