以前から１号線の草津⇒南草津間右側にある看板が気になってて、ようやく行ってきた。
実は先に別のところで腹ごしらえは終わってたけど、どうしてもタンが食べたくてここに。
１号線よりちょっと奥まったところにあり、って旧東海道沿いになるのかな。
外観は赤のでっかい看板がパチンコ屋のようにチカチカ輝きを放ち、絶対に迷うことが出来ない店構え。
店前には３台分の駐車場もあります。
中は古めの居酒屋風内装で、むむ・・・と身構える(笑)
入口を入ると、右側に座敷が２つ、左側には掘りごたつタイプの座敷が４つ？ほど。
左側には学生っぽい連中がすでに出来上がっている状態だったので、我々は右側の座敷に。
注文したのはすでに腹八分目だったことから４品のみ。
・大根サラダ
・牛タン焼き（塩）
・牛タン焼き（味噌）
・タンさがり入りテールスープ
大根サラダはもうちょっとシャキシャキしててほしかった。
タンはもうちょっと厚めが希望だったが、塩・味噌ともにいい塩加減。
付け合せの漬物がキャベツだったらより良かったが・・・。
テールスープは美味しかったけど、量が少なすぎ。
他のメニューも思ったより充実してたので、変り種居酒屋としては使えるかも♪
あー、定番の麦飯がラインナップで欲しかったなぁ。
