The Omi Ohashi approach road is just after turning east at Yabashi Chuo intersection. Korean Kitchen Kung is located in a corner of a row of Restaurants on the first floor of an apartment building along the road to Minami-Kusatsu Station. Look for the orange sign and curtain. Visit before 2pm on weekdays. There are several parking spaces in front of the restaurant, or go towards Minami-Kusatsu and turn left at the first traffic light, then park your car in the parking lot (Nakagawa Parking Lot for 3 cars) and enter the restaurant. Visit before 2pm on weekdays. There was no other customer there, as it was completely off lunchtime. Please take off your shoes at the entrance. Inside the restaurant, there is a sunken kotatsu counter and kitchen on the right side. The layout is a sunken kotatsu table on the left side. A young and friendly staff member welcomes you and takes you to a table. Korean Kitchen Kung's lunch passport menu is a jjigae set meal (jjigae, salad, rice) that is usually 750 yen, but 500 yen with the lunch passport. In addition to the lunch passport menu, there is a wide lineup of dishes such as stone-grilled bibimbap, various chijimi, tteokbokki, dak galbi, and fried rice, all of which are attractive. Please be careful as it is hot. The picture is not very good, but in reality the chige is more reddish. I took a bite of the chige with plenty of beef and radish. It was hot! And delicious! Then it was spicy! ... The jjigae available on the Lunch Passport changes each month, from beef and radish jjigae to beef and mushroom jjigae to sundubu (tofu) jjigae, so you'll want to get the stamp all three times to enjoy the delicious treat.
