草津駅東口前広場「ニワタス」にあるお店
「新メニュー登場」と書かれた看板が目に留まり訪問
土日祝の限定で「寿長生の郷」で食べられる朝定食を草津店でも提供されていることがわかり時間を見ればラストオーダー（11時半）近くだったので迷わずに（家で朝食は済ませていたので昼食になればと）入店
店内2階のテーブル席に案内されて着席
朝定食目当ての先客さんが1組

丹波の美味しい卵と水菜と本枯節の朝定食
注文してから5分足らずで提供された定食
まず目についたのが本枯節と水菜のお漬け物たっぷりの丼
生卵を割り白身を分けて黄身だけを丼の中へ
添えの醤油をかけて贅沢TKGの出来上がり
鰹節のいい香りと壬生菜漬けでパクパク
4分の1程残し香煎茶をかけてお茶漬けに
最後に奈良漬と代表銘菓の「あも」で口直し
いい朝食（昼食）になりました
