草津市にある弁当製造業者。
スーパーへの卸用の他、おせち、駅弁等も手掛ける。
近江牛すき焼き弁当は、駅弁の1種。
味付けご飯の上に、近江牛すき焼きを重ね、温泉玉子を乗せている。
つけ添えとして、焼豆腐煮、蒟蒻煮、椎茸煮、人参煮、きゅうり漬物、ゆず大根がある。豆腐や蒟蒻煮によりすき焼き感が増している。
近江牛すき焼きは、かなり本格的で、冷えていても美味しく味わえるようになっている。温泉玉子は半熟で、これをよく駅弁で提供出来たな、と不思議に思った。
駅弁なので、匂いが強いと車内で広げて食べ辛いという事で、味付けはあっさりめ。
つけ添えの味付けも同様にあっさりとしていた。
肉は勿論だが、野菜も色々使っていて、バランスが良い。
ボリュームのある駅弁。その分値段も張るが、記念として食べる分には問題無い。
