Located in the basement of Elty Kusatsu (Bankara Yokocho), this shop operates as a cafe (store name: Yaoya DE Cafe) until 5pm and as Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) afterwards. We have already been to the cafe, so this time we visited during Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) hours. We were the only ones entering the restaurant, but there was a reservation plate on our table. We sat down at the table we were shown to. An all-you-can-eat and drink option is available, but this time we ordered individual items. To order individual items, you scan the QR code and go to the dedicated website. This method of ordering has become more chicken dish recently. [This time's choice] Refreshing lemon chicken wings, yuzu salt, seared cucumber, potato salad. For the potato salad, you mash the potatoes yourself, so it's nice to be able to eat it fresh. [This time's selection] chicken dish... lemon. I tried two types of chicken dish both of which were citrus-based. I guess I was craving something lighter on the stomach. The acidity of the lemon neutralized the fat in chicken dish, and it was refreshing. There were other dishes besides chicken dish that I was interested in, so I will return. Thank you for the meal.
