滋賀県守山市にあるケーキのお店。地元ではかなり知名度があるようで、100名店にも選ばれている。
ここで修行されたひとが大阪府高槻市にお店を出していて(パティスリー カヌリエ)、それでこの店を初めて知った。
JR守山駅からはかなり距離があるようだ。今回は車を使った。
店の表に5台分くらいの駐車場があるが、細い路地を裏手に回るとさらに数台分空いている。
店内のサロンはほぼ満席だったが、庭のテラス席が使えるということでそちらに回った。
ケーキは先にショーケースで選び、着席し、それからドリンクを頼む形式。
フロマージュクリュとモンテリマールという2種類のケーキ。
それにアイスカフェラテ。
そう、弟子筋のカヌリエさんでもフロマージュを買ったんだっけ。
爽やか系チーズの中にダークチェリーがたっぷりはいっていて、洋酒がアクセントになっている。
甘いだけではなく、苦味とか色々な味が組み合わさっている。
こどもは洋酒使用の時点で向いていないが、味の構成もまた子供向きではないなと思う。
色んな賞など受けていて評価されていると書いてあるが、なるほどこの凝ったケーキはさすが。
思わず持ち帰りでカヌレも買ってしまった。
こちらもパリッと焼き上げた表面の硬さと、中のしっとり感の対照感がよかった。
