栗東の山奥という表現がぴったりと当てはまる。山間の田んぼの真ん中に当店がある。早めに到着したが、すぐに中央に囲炉裏のある個室に通してくれた。雰囲気は申し分ない。注文したのは深山(ふかやま)２９００円税別。謂わゆるミニ懐石にあたるものである。内容は、前菜、冷たい茶碗蒸し、囲炉裏串(地鶏か鮎の選択。鮎がオススメ)、山菜の天ぷら、レンコンの釜飯、なめこの味噌汁、漬物、わらび餅。全体的に量少なめ。まあ、雰囲気が気に入った。
