訪れたのは9時半前、大型の駐車場にもスムーズに入る事が出来、館内へと向かいます。
先ずは今回の目的でもある「ジャンボおにぎり(できたて明太子)」(390円)と「鬼盛りめんたい丼」(800円)を注文。
商品を受け取り２階にあるテーブル席で琵琶湖を眺めながらいただく事にしました。
「ジャンボおにぎり」はネーミング通り普通のおにぎりよりひと回り大きく中には明太子がたっぷりの使われており食べ応えもあります。
「鬼盛りめんたい丼」には、皮から出されたたっぷりの明太子に半身の明太子がふた切れ盛り付けられ、別に刻み海苔と旨だれが付けられいます。
先ずはそのまま食べてみると、プチプチとした明太子の食感とタレに漬け込まれた旨みとピリッとした辛味がありごはんともよく合い、半身の明太子は更にプチプチ感を強く感じられ、旨だれを掛けてみると更に旨みが増し少しマイルドさも感じられ、明太子の量もたっぷりで食感の違いも楽しめコスパも悪く無いと思います。
デザートで追加で購入した「めんたいソフトクリーム」(360円)は、とても濃厚でミルキーなソフトクリームに仄かな明太子の塩味が甘みを引き立てますが意外と明太子感は控えめでした。
私が訪れた9時台はフードコートも空いていましたが10時頃になると長蛇の列が出来ていました。
