奈良から近江八幡まで足をのばしてこちらへ。
初めて訪れる街です。滋賀は30年前に琵琶湖に来て以来。
近江八幡はしっとりとした街ですね。江戸時代の建造物がそこかしこに残っています。
バームクーヘンで有名なクラブハリエのカフェです。
食べログでは9時開店と明記してありますが、ショップは9時半、カフェは10時開店です。
カフェは庭に面した洋館で、ショップを通ってその奥にあります。お向かいにはたねやの茶店もあり。
いただいたのは「日牟禮ロールケーキセット」、ブレンドコーヒーで。
肌理細かなロールケーキに地元産の苺と柑橘が散りばめてあります。
接客が丁寧でした。
この日は祝日でしたので、開店と同時に満席。人気ありますね。
ショップでは日牟禮本店限定の苺のジャムを購入しました。
