2021年11月を皮切りに何回か寄せさせてもらっています。
こちらの近江牛は総じて肉質が柔らかく、食べてみるとお肉自体の旨味が強く伝わってきます。
ランチなら、5000円を切るお値段で本格的な近江牛料理が楽しめますよ。
おすすめメニューその1「お昼のすき焼きコース」
レビュアーの皆様の多くが推す「近江牛すき焼き御膳」も美味しいのですが、これは最初から肉と野菜を割り下で煮込む関東風の牛鍋タイプ。肉が上質なのでそれでも十分ではありますが、関西人の私としては、牛肉はやはりジューッと焼いて食いたいところ。２名からのオーダーになりますが、コースにするとお店の人がカセットコンロで１周分焼いて下さります。その時の香ばしさは何物にも代えられません。220円の違いなら関西風すき焼きを楽しむのもアリだと思いますよ。
おすすめメニューその2「お昼の鉄板焼き御膳」
すき焼きは牛肉と他の具材のハーモニーを楽しむ料理ですが、近江牛の旨味をガツンと味わいたい人には鉄板焼がおすすめです。ステーキにできそうな分厚いロースを自分の好みに焼き上げるので、間違いないおいしさです。ただし、店内にはすき焼きの甘い香りが漂っているので、ある意味勇者向けのメニューと申せましょう。
近江西川は精肉店がルーツなだけあって、切り落としは100g432円、すき焼き用でも100g648円からという良心的価格で近江牛を販売してくれます。（金曜日は精肉1割引）
店内に車椅子用トイレはありません。近所の白雲館の多目的トイレを使うのがいいでしょう。
