PR for restaurants |
We have been operating in front of Himure Hachiman Shrine for over 60 years.
To allow you to experience the bountiful harvest of the Lake Country, you can enjoy the view of the picturesque Mt. Hachiman and the garden that evokes the beauty of nature. The food we serve uses not |
It was my first trip to Omi. I wanted to enjoy Omi beef at a proper restaurant that was delicious and luxurious, even if it was a little expensive, so after searching around, I made a reservation here. It seems to be a famous restaurant in the city, and the taxi driver took me there just by name. We were led to a private room that was too big for two people, with a magnificent gate and a beautiful garden. We had the Omi beef course, and it was really enjoyable. I was surprised when the food was served on a large tray called a "bonseki," which is a tray made of white sand that creates a magnificent view. I heard that the young owner went to Kyoto to learn this traditional art. It must be hard to maintain such a restaurant, but it is only by learning these arts that the young owner of a restaurant can have more time in life and gain more depth in business. It was wonderful just to feel that. The landlady's conversation was also fun. The food was too much for an elderly person, and it was almost painful to finish. The appetizers alone were quite voluminous, and if you eat seriously, you won't be able to finish it. The Omi beef was as expected, and it was really delicious without the excessive fattiness that is common in Japanese beef. At the end, the young owner took us back to the hotel. What hospitality! I feel like I was given such warm hospitality as a traveler from outside the prefecture. I am grateful.
