Our restaurant is a 2-minute walk from Omihachiman Station. All-you-can-eat carefully selected Omi beef. We provide our customers with the best value for money. Enjoy a luxurious banquet with Omi beef |
In July 2021, I had a business trip to Shiga, and since I was there, I stayed at a hotel near Omihachiman Station to visit the 33 temples of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage. I was searching online for places to have dinner near the station, and I came across this restaurant, made a reservation in advance, and visited. When I arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time, after my temperature was taken and alcohol disinfection was done at the entrance, I was guided to a corner in the back that looked like a private room separated by tables, and there was a simple hand washing area where I washed my hands. I thought it was nice that the process was smooth. Since we can't eat that much, we ordered the most affordable standard all-you-can-eat course (58 dishes in total: 3,500 yen excluding tax). And although I can't handle alcohol, I also ordered the all-you-can-drink alcohol course (1,078 yen) because I felt like I was on a short trip for the first time in a long time. The Omi beef rib Sushi and Omi beef medium fatty tuna Sushi on the menu of this restaurant are Sushi topped with lightly grilled Omi beef, but they are easy to eat and so delicious... While waiting for the salted tongue and various Yakiniku (Grilled meat) to be cooked, we enjoyed our beers with the meat Sushi as snacks. We ordered salads and edamame so that we would need some vegetables, my husband ordered his favorite garlic rice, and I wanted something lighter so I ordered Korean Cold Noodles. I was surprised at the size of the food that was brought to me. (To be honest, I thought it would be a smaller size, but it was a full-bodied regular size.) I have hardly been drinking alcohol lately, so I got quite drunk after the first beer, and although I usually try to save on rice, the meat Sushi was delicious so I ordered more, and the portions of the garlic rice and Cold Noodles were quite large, so I thought to myself, "Since I ordered it, I have to finish it all..." and tried my best, which diminished the impression that I had eaten a good amount of meat. These are my personal regrets. However, the staff were cheerful and polite, and although there seemed to be some trouble with the ordering tablet, the manager (?) dealt with it properly, and the staff who called out to me and took away the empty plates that were gathered on the side every time they passed by our table, and when I couldn't finish the Korean Cold Noodles noodles and told the female staff member "I'm sorry, it was more voluminous than I thought, so I couldn't finish it all," she replied with a smile, "It's okay." I was impressed with the service from everyone, and I thought this would be a restaurant I would definitely like to visit again if I visit Shiga Prefecture again. And if there is another opportunity, I would like to order the higher class course (tax-excluded: 4,500 yen) that includes rare Steak, even without alcohol, and eat less rice, and enjoy the meat more thoroughly.
