ＪＲ近江八幡駅から徒歩９分のところ。近江八幡市文化会館の中にある当店。駐車場あり。本場イタリアで修業し、パナマ大使公邸料理人も務めたシェフの料理がいただけるとのことで、楽しみにやってきたが、この日は、臨時でパニーノ（イタリア版サンドウィッチ）の日とのこと。本格的なイタリアンを期待していただけに残念。やはり、予約の電話を入れて、確認してからの訪問が良かった。しかし、折角お邪魔したので、パニーノをいただくことに。文化会館の一角を利用されているので、外観も内観もこじんまり。店内は喫茶店のような趣き。小綺麗にされている。テーブル席に案内してもらった。パニーノは、パリッと焼いたパンとハード系のパンのものが各２種の計４種から１種選択。５５０円税込。コーヒーを付けると８８０円税込。注文したのは、パリッと焼いたパンの方の２種。ハムのようなソーセージとチーズが入ったものと、グリルチキンが入ったもの。それから、ハード系パンの方のハンバーグのようなソーセージとモッツァレラチーズが入ったものをコーヒーのセットで奥さんといただいた。これがどれもなかなかイケる！あまり期待していなかったから、その旨さにびっくり。パン、肉、チーズ、野菜のバランス良く、それぞれに味を主張してくる。粒マスタードが味を引き締めているのも良い。それぞれ２切れずつ付いているから、コスパも悪くない。しかし、全体的なボリュームがもう一息。あと、サラダとスープが追加注文で付けられたりしたらいいのにというのが、率直な感想。しかし、是非、別日にイタリアンをいただきに再訪したいと思った。
