近江八幡に来てけっこう歩きました。ランチの寿司屋が駅と観光地区の中間でそこまで歩いたし、そのあと日牟禮八幡宮やハイド記念館も全部徒歩。さすがにオヤツが欲しいです。
友達から丁稚羊羹の天ぷらがおいしいカフェが堀沿いにあると教えられて行ったお店。これ？と入った店で合っていましたが、丁稚羊羹ではなくういろうを揚げたものでした。
一口サイズでいろんな味のういろうに薄い衣を付けて揚げてあり、ソフトクリーム添えです。寒いのでコーヒーも別で頼みました。
窓際のカウンター席、堀川にかかる明治橋が見えています。店の前にはうなぎを抱えた飛び出し坊や。ここは鰻料理も出す店なのです。平日15時台後半なので、先客も鰻ではありませんでしたけど。
しばらくしてういろう揚げたんが届きました。
え〜！？かわいい！(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
写真とか見ずに注文したのでびっくりしました。
サイコロに切ったういろう。薄く揚げ衣がついて、ういろうの色が透けて見えています。
さくら、抹茶、黒糖、白、、茶色がもう一つなんだっけ？ ういろうは揚げても溶けないようで熱々に揚げてありました。冷たいアイスとよく合って最高です╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
今月のコーヒーもおいしかった。カップもかわいいね。
