This is a Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) located in front of JR Omihachiman Station. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy Hakata's local food, chicken skin skewers. I visited on a Saturday night. It was probably about an hour before closing. I entered the store. Since it was late, there were not many customers. The main menu item is chicken skin skewers. It has a salty taste and a tart taste. There were various other Grilled skewer. I ordered a few things that interested me, mainly chicken skin skewers. Hakata Torikawa skewers with salt 160 yen Hakata Torikawa skewers with sauce 160 yen Pork belly skewers 160 yen Negima skewers 160 yen Potato butter skewers 150 yen Fried tofu with tofu 280 yen The salty flavor of the chicken skin skewers comes with a crispy grilled surface. Masu. On the other hand, the sauce retains the characteristic squishiness of the skin after being grilled. While I'm glad that they've put some thought into how they bake it, I couldn't deny that the crispy and chewy texture was a bit lacking.
