八日市駅から徒歩5分ほどの萬膳食堂。
昔ながらの昭和な大衆食堂です！
お昼時は近隣のお客さんで満席。
待ちが少しありました。
壁にメニューがずらり。
下調べでは、オムライス、カツカレー、ポークジンジャーが人気とのこと。
カレーの気分だったので、カツカレーを♪
頂いたもの

出来るのに15分くらいかかりました。
てんこ盛りのご飯の上に揚げたてのトンカツ。
お皿が大きくてお盆からはみ出そうですw
ルウは具材はほとんど入っていないタイプ。
辛さはほんのり。辛いのが苦手な方も大丈夫な辛さだと思います。
ご飯も硬めの炊き具合で好みでした♪
家庭的でボリュームもたっぷり。
お値段も良心的で流行る理由が分かりました。
周りを見ますと
ポークジンジャー、スペシャル弁当の方が多かったように思います。
