Marugame Seimen's "Attention to Detail"
Marugame Seimen's udon noodles are made with just these three ingredients: 100% Hokkaido flour, salt, and water. The udon noodles are boiled in a large boiling pot using the shop's noodle making machi |
I visited Marugame Seimen Hikone Matsubara branch just before noon on the middle day of the long weekend because it was crowded everywhere and I had to wait in line a little, but it was a fast turnaround option. The parking lot is shared with Alpen Depot and the store, so it's spacious and easy to park. If I had to choose between udon and soba, I would choose soba, but today I came here because my wife was with me. I don't often visit here, so I didn't know what to do, and I ordered the kamatama, which I think is the easiest to eat, but the kamatama that was served had the raw egg already crumbled and mixed in. The temperature was low for a freshly fried dish, so the raw egg wasn't cooked through. I regretted not ordering the kamaage option. The udon itself was thick and chewy, and went down smoothly, and considering the price of 420 yen, it was a delicious udon with good value for money. If you don't add tempura or rice, it was a very reasonable Japanese fast food that will get you through your lunch quickly. Thank you for the meal.
