水曜日の11:30に長浜の『茂美志"や』へ。
これで『もみじや』と読みます。
長浜名物の「のっぺいうどん」で有名なお店。
ということで「のっぺいうどん(1,100円)」をオーダー。
5分後到着。
おぉ、この蓋はかなり興味がそそられます。
蓋を開けるとあんかけうどんが登場。
そしてうどんを覆う巨大な椎茸。
初めて見るビジュアルです。
一口。美味い。
思ったよりもとろみがしっかりしたあんかけ。
一瞬ゲル状かと思うくらい。
出汁がしっかりと効いた濃いめの味。
巨大な椎茸に生麩、蒲鉾、湯葉、三つ葉。
そしておろし生姜がアクセント。
うどんは自家製。
「のっぺいうどん」とは具入りうどんにとろみのある"あん"をかけたあんかけうどん。
江戸後期から京都や大阪で一般的なメニューとして存在してましたが、現在では店舗もそう多くなく長浜以外ではあまり見かけない希少なメニューみたいです。
新しいうどんを食べた気がします。
