I had dinner here while waiting for the train home. I actually wanted to try the local specialty "Saba Somen" that I saw on a sign of another Local Cuisine restaurant that morning, but none of the restaurants were open, so I changed to Plan B. It's located near the shores of Lake Biwa, and it's a restaurant that has been renovated from Pork Cutlet restaurant into a stylish Bistro style restaurant. They mainly serve Pork Cutlet, but also Hamburg. There's a constant stream of customers. Yamagata Pork Loin Cutlet Japanese Set 1,980 yen The loin cutlet is thick but super soft and incredibly delicious. Each slice is cut in half, which makes it easy to eat, which is GOOD. We had a great time and it was delicious. Time to go home!
