A warm and cozy cafe in Nagahama where you can enjoy handmade sweets in a retro-modern space
This cafe was renovated from an old soy sauce storehouse in a corner of Nagahama City. When you open the door, you'll find a relaxing interior wrapped in the warmth of wood. The stylish interior, whic |
It's been more than half a year since I met my local childhood friend. I went to this restaurant in her car to go to lunch. I heard that the "Nagahama soufflé" here was delicious, and I wanted to go there. On the outskirts of the city, the restaurant that renovated the soy sauce brewery was so fashionable that you couldn't think of it as Nagahama (^-^; It was in the middle of Obon, but the shop was almost full. The interior of the restaurant has a comfortable atrium. The thick beams are from the soy sauce brewery era. There are counter seats and table seats on the first floor, and table seats in the loft, so it feels quite spacious. There is a large painting on the wall right at the entrance and an impressive red wall opposite the counter, which transforms the locals' meal time into a stylish scenery. The small items that are placed here and there are also soothing. I managed to sit at the counter on the first floor and looked at the menu. There is not much variety. Snacks include egg Mr./Ms., nabolitan and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). Then there's the fluffy baked Nagahama soufflé, summer-only pahue, and montagne at Sweets. Montagne looked like a Pancakes, but we both ordered it without knowing what it was. It was too comical, and I waited a long time, but I couldn't help it. While enjoying the conversation about each other's recent situation, we finally arrived. Fluffy Pancakes in a hot mini frying pan. It is ♪ served with margarine and maple syrup, and "first of all, please eat it as it is. Then melt the margarine in a frying pan. Add syrup at the end." Take a bite with a fork, it is very light and smells of egg. Maybe the flour is low and the eggs are fluffy and baked? It was also written as healthy. Margarine, goes well. It is also delicious with maple syrup. I finished it in no time. The blended coffee I ordered was also delicious in its own way. After a while, the wave of people receded, but it seems that regular Mr./Ms. have already been established, and it is thriving. It seems that they also have a one-off yoga class. Will elegant Mr./Ms. get together? The cost performance is not good, but I would like to try Nagahama soufflé next time.
