島根県の松江城から徒歩5分圏内に位置する、地元では有名な老舗料亭です。
門を通り過ぎると老舗料亭旅館の立派なお庭が見えます。店内の個室はプライベートが重視された落ち着いた空間となっています。
【鯛めし御膳 寿】3,500円
鯛めしを中心とした会席料理で、鯛めし一式、お造り、カレイの白醤油焼き、天ぷら、茶碗蒸し、胡麻豆腐、もずくとなっています。
鯛めし一式のお皿には、澱粉状に固めた鯛の身と、ゆでた卵の白身と黄身の3色が綺麗にのっていて美しいビジュアルです。
3色の具材をご飯の上にのせ、わさび、大根おろし、ねぎ、海苔を添えた後、だし汁をかけていただきます。
箸で掴むと簡単に崩れるので、お手本のように綺麗に盛り付けるのは難しいですが、盛り付ける作業も相まって楽しく食事をすることができました。
非常に素朴であっさりとした味わいで、鰹ベースのだし汁と相性も良く美味しいです。
お造りはマグロ、イカ、鯛の3種。全体的にどれも小ぶりで特段新鮮さや旨みは感じられませんでした。
カレイの白醤油焼きは、カラスガレイを使用していてカレイの甘味と調味料の酸味が上手く合って美味しかったです。
店員さんの接客も旅館ならではの格式の高さ、おもてなしを感じ、喧騒を忘れて優雅なひと時を過ごすことができました。
