A Japanese-style meal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that opened in July 2007. We use A4-ranked marbled Shimane Wagyu beef. Steak sets are 3,980 yen for 100g, and 4,580 yen for 150g. Other sets and a la carte options are available. We are committed to using local ingredients and making our dishes by hand, so please forgive us if we run out of stock. We operate with a small number of staff, so we may not be able to accept large groups without a reservation. Please contact us in advance. Please make reservations for kaiseki and shojin ryori meals at least two days in advance. We look forward to welcoming you to our skin-beautifying hot springs and delicious food. |

The place we stayed that night was Tamatsukuri Onsen. It was a hotel Ryokan, but since we were staying there on a business trip, we naturally ate out for dinner. However, there weren't many places to eat in Tamatsukuri Onsen, and after searching, I found Kanon-san, so my colleague made a reservation for us. There were two customers ahead of us. No customers after us. We had just one drink and ordered something from Western Cuisine menu. ◆ Li Bai Yamatanoorochi It had a slightly aged feel, and came with a cold sake, but it might have been better chilled (at room temperature). ■ Wagyu Kalbi Teppan-yaki Set The meat was made from Shimane Wagyu beef, and it was chewy and seasoned to go well with rice. ■ Cow tongue Teppan-yaki Set It said it was thick-sliced, but I guess it was just okay. Not as thick as the typical Sendai Cow tongue. There was quite a lot of it. I wish it was a little cheaper, but I guess it can't be helped since they cater to tourists. A rare Western-style Western Cuisine in Tamatsukuri Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Thank you for the meal.
