島根県松江市寺町にある『風流堂 寺町本店』さん。
テレビのお店紹介で観て行ってみたかった和菓子屋さんです。
島根県に2泊3日の1人旅「出雲大社祈願紀行 2022神在月編」でのお土産選びで伺いました。
時間は11時30分頃に着きましたが、駐車場は空いています。(駐車場は4台)
お店には食べるスペースは無いです。
『風流堂』さんは、明治23年創業の老舗和菓子屋さんです。
『風流堂 寺町本店』さんは本店で、島根県松江市末次本町にある「風流堂 京橋店」さんと島根県松江市矢田町にある「風流堂 矢田店」さんは支店になります。
「山川」「古代山川」等の風流銘菓をはじめ、季節の和菓子・ご慶祝の和菓子等を販売しています。
今回は、テレビで紹介されていた『山川 小』594円を購入。
家に持ち帰り頂きました。
『山川』は、しっとりとした口どけの紅白の落雁です。
日本茶や抹茶に合う感じの昔ながらの和菓子で美味しいです。
松江三大銘菓の1つで、茶人として名高い松江藩主・松平不昧公が好んだとされる菓子だそうです。
開封後は時間が経つと固くなってしまうので、早めに頂くことをおすすめします。
昔ながらの和菓子が好きな方にはお薦めです。
