I live in Matsue. While I was visiting Ichihata for some outdoor activities, I decided to go to Chamine to have some lunch. Perhaps due to the coronavirus pandemic, the udon restaurant seems to be closed. Is this a new store opening? The previous restaurant had a 500 yen lunch, but this one seems to have a different format. I entered the store a little before noon. You will be greeted with a cheerful "Welcome". The smiles on your brother and sister's faces are also nice. I sit at a table and look at the menu. Both of us ordered "Chicken Soba" for 800 yen + "Fried Karaage" for 200 yen. We had to wait quite a while, but after about 20 minutes, the older brother served the food and said, ``Sorry to have kept you waiting.'' I brought white rice and raw eggs from the all-you-can-eat restaurant and ate them together. First of all, I sipped the soup----It was a relatively hot soup----I didn't like it. The chicken char siu also has a strong chicken taste, so I'm sorry lol The noodles are thin and almost straight, but they're hardened lol Sorry! As for the chicken soba, I was disappointed. The fried chicken was pretty average, though the coating was quite thick which was a bit disappointing. I think the egg-cooked rice was the most delicious.
