国道9号線を安来駅から西の、荒島駅の手前側1kmくらいのところに「桂林」があります。
けっこう前からある中華料理店ですが、前回出かけたのがいつだったか思い出せないくらいご無沙汰しております。
前回は、10数年前だろうけど、担担麺を食べ、その前はラーメンを食べたという、おぼろげな記憶だけがあります。
店頭には食品サンプル。
そして、日替わりのお知らせ。
12時過ぎの入店で満席。
他にウェイティングのお客さんがおられなかったので、そのまま待つことに。
2～3分の待ちで席が空きました。
相席にすれば、もう少し詰められなくもないかな。
その後、後客も次々と3組8名来店。
ウェイティングを嫌ったお客さんが2組帰られたりしてました。
予想以上に流行ってました。
今回は、五目あんかけの焼きそば¥630＆ライス¥180。（お値段は消費税8％増税前）
ほぼ満席でしたので、待ち時間は長めの20分。
酸味も甘味も控えめな優しい味付けの餡がかかっています。
豚肉、海老、白菜、人参、キクラゲ、玉ねぎ、ピーマン、
大ぶりに切られた白菜の甘さがイイです。
中華鍋に押し付けて焼かれた麺は、所々にコゲがあってイイ感じ。
際だった個性があるわけじゃあないですけど、普通に旨いです。
個性的じゃなかったから、ラーメンの印象が残ってないのかもしれません。
そのうち、無くしたラーメンの記憶を取り戻しに来たいと思います。
